in san jose california there was 2 shocking fights where the underdog got the victory. the first fight in the main card it was muhamed king mo lawal vs mike whitehead. this fight was another victimim of king mo's right hand annd it was a first round KO Victory and king mo has improved to 6 and 0. next fight was ronaldo souza vs matt lindland. this fight coludnt be easier for "jacare" souza, souza submitted lindland without a sweat in an arm triangle, and souza kept his middleweight belt. next fight in this tremendous event was josh thompson vs gilbert melendez. josh coming back to MMA after nearly 2 years, he gave his best effort but he was dominated the whole 5 rounds by melendez. in the main event of the evening was scott smith vs cung le. this fight was supposed to be an easy pass for Le, but scott smith apparently had other plans. cung le was dominating scott the whole fight, but then out of no where scott starts stalking le with his right hand and landed hard punches until cung le fell down to the mat and he was knocked out and he recieved his first loss.
